Sandra Oshiro, University of Hawai'i
Sandra Oshiro is pursuing a doctorate in learning design and technology from the University of Hawaiʻʻi. She serves as assistant editor of the Review of Disability Studies: An International Journal and coordinates the Hawaiʻi Young Adults in Transition, a support group for families with adults on the spectrum. She is a member of the University of Hawaiʻʻi Center on Disability Studies Community Advisory Council and serves on the Hawaiʻi board of the Association for People Supporting Employment First, which supports employment for persons with disabilities. She also is board secretary and a director of the Pacific Housing Assistance Corp., a nonprofit developing affordable housing for seniors, those with special needs, and low-income families.
