Author Biography

Alex Lubet, Adjunct Professor of American Studies, University of Minnesota

Alex Lubet, Ph.D., is Morse Alumni and Graduate & Professional Distinguished Teaching Professor of Music, a member of the Center for Jewish Studies, and Adjunct Professor of American Studies at the University of Minnesota.  He teaches music composition and popular culture.  A composer and performer, his research in disability studies focuses on musicians as cultural workers, as students, and as media images, especially in film.
