Author Biography
Genesis Leong, Center on Disability Studies
Genesis Leong is an Institutional Support staff member at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, Center on Disability Studies. She currently works on a variety of projects ranging from working on Postsecondary Programs for Students with Intellectual Disabilities and Secondary & Post-Secondary STEM Programs. She has recently joined the Review of Disability Studies Journal and is very excited about advancing the legacy of RDS.
In addition, Genesis is a special events coordinator for large-scale community events focused on cutting-edge technology, social justice advocacy and community development. She has extensive experience in event coordination, project management, client relationships, sponsorship development and integrated marketing.
She currently volunteers her leadership skills as the Lead Curator of TEDxHonolulu and as the President of WE Rotary D5000 Hawaii Club.
